The Associated Press reported Thursday that Twitter is adding its own brand and employee portal.
The company says it is using a proprietary platform to streamline its brand and customer service operations.
It will also help companies track, share, and manage their brands, employees, and customer data.
The new portal will be available to brands and the entire company by the end of the year.
In a statement, Twitter said it will work with brands to identify, understand, and optimize their brand experience for users and brands.
The announcement comes on the heels of Facebook’s acquisition of Instagram, the company’s most popular social media platform.
Facebook, which has a total of more than 2.5 billion users, has a new app called Instagram Live, which offers the same features as Twitter’s account portal.
